Welcome to liveyourplot (“liveyourplot,” “we,” “us”), a free, for-fun website operated by bypurr. By using liveyourplot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What liveyourplot is
liveyourplot is a playful tool that suggests a real nearby place and a lighthearted “rule” for you to try. It is provided for entertainment only. It is not advice of any kind (including safety, health, legal, financial, or professional advice).
2. Assumption of risk: please read
liveyourplot encourages you to go out and do things in the real world. You are solely responsible for your own safety, decisions, and conduct. Use common sense, obey the law, and never do anything that puts you or anyone else at risk. Suggestions and “rules” are optional prompts, not instructions, so skip any you’re not comfortable with.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks arising from visiting any place or following any suggestion, and you release bypurr and liveyourplot from any liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of the site or your real-world activities.
3. Accuracy of place information
Place data comes from third parties (including OpenStreetMap and Google) and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A spot may be closed, private, or unsuitable. Verify details independently before you go. We don’t endorse or vouch for any place shown.
4. Community suggestions
If you submit a rule or idea, you confirm it’s your own and not unlawful, hateful, harassing, dangerous, or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit, and remove it. We review submissions before they appear and may reject or remove anything at our discretion. Don’t include personal information in submissions.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. No warranties
liveyourplot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, bypurr and liveyourplot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the site or your real-world activities. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use liveyourplot (which is $0).
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
